Chief Financial Officer
Tom Hanzel joined CEA in early 2019 as the Chief Financial Officer. He oversees accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, risk transfer and reinsurance, capital management, and investments.
Before joining CEA, Tom was the Chief Administrative Officer & Treasurer at GeoVera Holdings, Inc., and has held previous roles in finance and management at Fireman’s Fund, Allianz, Silicon Valley Bank, Sumitomo Bank and GE Capital.
Tom received his B.S.B.A. degree in Finance from John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH and his M.B.A. from London Business School in the United Kingdom.
Outside of the office, Tom keeps busy spending time with his wife and two children, and hiking and playing golf.
